What makes a project cost more than the starting price?

Mostly complexity: more boards or layers, additional radios, tighter power targets, certification needs, more device types in the cloud, or higher production volumes. The engineering review tells you exactly which of these apply to you.

What happens if the scope changes?

Changes are written up and priced as a change request before any work starts. Nothing is billed without your approval, and the rest of the fixed quote stays as agreed.

Is the engineering review really free?

Yes. An engineer reviews what you have, then you receive a written scope and a fixed-price proposal. There is no obligation to go ahead.

Which currencies do you invoice in?

Prices are shown in USD. We can also invoice in EUR or INR.

Can a startup begin with a small budget?

Yes. A discovery sprint gives you requirements, an architecture and a costed BOM for a fixed price, so you can raise money or plan the build on solid numbers before committing to more.
